Bird & Bird’s EU Chemicals Regulatory Team, based in Brussels, advises clients on a broad range of EU chemicals and environmental legislation, with particular focus on REACH, CLP, the Biocides Regulation, Agrochemicals, the Drinking Water Directive (DWD), Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP) Regulation, and Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR); alongside regulatory compliance, the team supports clients through advocacy before EU institutions, strategic advice on market access and product approvals, and litigation before EU and national courts, offering an integrated approach to navigating complex and evolving EU regulatory landscape.
